I love the contrast between the two stories, and the repaying of an ancient debt. The begrudging gratitude between Gloin and Legolas is exactly how I'd imagine it, and it's great that it's mirrored with Legolas and Gimli. Thank you!

LOL. thanks for the charming story Aruthir. I can't figure out if I'm going to marry a dwarf or an elf when I grow up. What would Gloin and Gimili do without elves around to pester them.
