This is a very moving story. I like the attention you give to the outcasts of society, as you did in "Light Fingers"as well. It seems appropriate in these times I think. Getting Maglor in addition is just icing on the cake.

I love this wonderful ending to a very orignal story :) I love how he calls himself 'Mac' and the last letter was filled with emotion. A great read, but, if you don't mind me asking, who was the 'old friend'? I have a couple of ideas but I was just wondering who you were thinking of whilst writing. :) Well Done for the very enjoyable fanfic!
