Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out.  3 Nazgul, you sicced 3 nazguls on poor Legolas!!   Ok, let's get the usual out the way.  well written as usual.  Really enjoyed the emotional upheaval Legolas is going through  talk about a depressed and confused elf!!

"spring was on its way.. and he would not be here to see it".  How utterly sad.

Now,  where in the sam hill is Elrohir?  boy is he ticking me off. I loved legolas's defiance at the end,now that's the warrior I Know and love.

Well done and definitely worth the wait. 

Did I tell you I was one of those annoying "happy ever after" type of gals? 

Oh my goodness  - Elrohir - where are you?  Will you do as you are meant to?  In which case; oh my goodness Ziggy you've....no I won't say, in case anyone sees the comment before the chapter!

OMG how could you leave us like that...what a chapter ,i don't think i was breathing at all. cannot wait to see if Legolas survives , it will be a one sided love affair otherwise.

But I have a horrible feeling you just did... Ai, my hero, what have you done to him? And what on Middle-earth are you going to do to Elrohir?

And now I know how the readers of my now-finally-finished Epic Fic used to feel when they got caught up and had to wait for the next chapter! Off to sign up for an alert...

Azalais- it has been such fun reading your comments as you move through the chapters to culminate in your last declaration!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. Hm..yes, as you say- where IS Elrohir and what is he doing when he should be carrying out HIS task. Well- you have to re-read the previous two chapters for a clue and I am getting stuck into the next one, but it will be  a little while as RL just does creep up on you!! Hope you noticed the dedication  : )

What?! I'm missing an archive?  I only know about two, ff.net and here; what's the third one?  I don't want to be missing out on anything now!

This chapter is so bright with the spark that is your interpretation of Legolas - vunerable, yet at the same time, a tower of strength and composure; an unquenchable flame buffeted by the winds of war, but even in doubt, sure and certain in his course of action; with such a bright essence, I hold to my course that there is no way it could be extinguished by some formless shadow of a Nazgul!

But omg, you're breaking my heart into itty bitty pieces every time I open a new chapter and submerge into this fantastic universe again.  I'm not even bothering to try and piece it back together in between postings anymore, I know its just gonna be shattered again, so I'm waiting 'til the end to glue it back together. 

I know I can't do anything about the new job ::grrrr:: (I don't suppose the old one is still availabe and you could back to it? ) but is there any kind of bribery your muse responds to?

I have a suspicion that rather than, as it appears on the surface, callously betraying Legolas to his fate, Elrohir is playing a double game of some kind. However, if - as I fervently hope - it's not Legolas he's betraying, then he must be intending to double-cross Sauron. Which is a very, very dangerous game, and I hope to goodness he knows what he's doing...

And I also selfishly hope that, Christmas or no Christmas, the Muse will be kind and RL cooperative simultaneously, and let you write!
