So much to like in this chapter. Still loving your Gimli-and-Legolas, the black humour and the mixture of irritation and affection - that rings very true, as do Legolas' mercurial changes of mood. Gorgeous description of him catching the first hint of (I assume) the Sea...
Poor Elrohir, though. That vivid and visceral description of his dream made it very clear just what a burden of memory he's carrying. Very intrigued to see where this goes next...
