Thank you for letting me know that you have started to post this - I have battled my way through the new layout to find it, and it has not disappointed.
I find the relationships between the Fellowship, the Rangers, and the Sons of Elrond fascinating as you write them; the sense of distrust between the groups is very believable - more realistic than tales where everyone is everyone else's bosom friend!

Have only just started on this story, after having it on my To Read list for a long time - and I don't think it's going to disappoint. Legolas is one of my favourite characters - as are Gimli and the Peredhil come to that - and I can already see that with all the tensions and emotions you're setting up, this is going to get really interesting.
I also love the wealth of realistic detail and description - at last, a M-e fic in which people actually need the loo!

I read your previous story for the MEFAs, and now I am finally reading this one. It pops up every time I do a search for Orc fic [glares at the summary] so I guess it is high time I do so, whether it actually contains Orcs or not. 
BTW, thanks for the footnotes. As I said, I did read the earlier story but the refresher was appreciated.
