Classic, Darth! Would have been worth reading based on the (hilarious) summary alone, and the story lives up to its promise. Oropher is dead-on perfect. And Finarfin - hahahah! We liked this story very much, thank you.

This has to be one of the most hilarious takes on Finarfin and Oropher I have ever read. I enjoyed it immensely, especially the part about Finarfin referring to himself as "we."

Fascinating, well written and cleverly thought out. The presumption of superiority is frighteningly plausible.

Lovely.
Very different from an usual picture of any elven society, but fun and sweet and friendly.

This is very well done, Darth! The arrogance is all too common, but the misunderstandings left me in stitches at times.
Great story!

This is wonderful! Oropher glorious in his delectable and unique style of leadership - charismatic, yes, I should say so. Who would not follow an elf who lies naked sunbathing with a hat on and then strides unselfconsciously back to his people-ish, telling everyone he is not the king, but a reeve. I liked that idea enormously. I have always used Aran to mean chief rather than King but Noldor and Men cannot quite get that distinction.
But this is not only beautifully crafted, but so detailed in the back story. And the Nandor/sindar/noldor cultures so carefully distinct. LOved Canamire and am now going to look for more from you about him!
