Interesting how so many fics recently are less than starry-eyed about the valar. I think you've done a brilliant job of imagining the joy and heartbreak between these two brothers, and your descriptions of early Numenorean society and architecture are well-reasoned and written.
Nice to see a 'young' Elrond, carefully kept in his place by elves older and wiser, and also how he perceives his half-elveness. A half-elven colony/society would have been an interesting concept to explore, if any had been allowed to.
Thought-provoking. And poignant. Thank you.
