As always, you write so beautifully. Arwen's story is almost unbearably sad I find. This makes it a little less grim and just gives another wistful and tender slant to the poignancy of it all.

I've always found Arwen's fate to be almost unbearably sad, too. I can't imagine how hard it must have been for her to say goodbye to Elrond for the last time. I think it must have given her some comfort to know that, however difficult the road she had chosen for herself, she was not walking it alone - at least until the very end. I'm very glad you enjoy my writing and liked this story! Thank you very much for your comment! :)
