I've enjoyed the story so far. I liked how you fleshed out Elrond's household and all the relationships Gilraen developed over the years.

This is an admirably edgy chapter. The Dunedain-Elvish tension is nicely drawn through Gilraen's eyes.

What a fitting ending to this story which held my interest from the very first words of the opening scene. Although opening those letters must have been sad moments for the recipients, it is good to think that, particularly in those last years, Gilraen did things her way.
