I particularly liked these bits in this chapter, Neaththetrees:
Reaching a gauntleted hand to touch the wall and then his heart.

Another deliciously Dwarvish-sounding vignette! These two turns of phrase really caught my attention:
allowing their axes to speak -a grim speach of vengeance and immoveable resolve.
[though there's a typo- it should be speech]
in the open hall the berserkers of the Iron Hills were to be finally set loose
I'd never have thought to use the word berserker with Dwarves, but it suits this scene vividly well. You're introducing me to time periods I've not delved into, which is marvelous.
