Mazarb Khazâd. Accounts of the Dwarves.

I particularly liked these bits in this chapter, Neaththetrees:

Reaching a gauntleted hand to touch the wall and then his heart.

the scarlet axe Bundutarag, the bloodbeard

Cheers--

Thanks Adaneth.

I have a horrible habit of over-working my pieces, this one came straight from the heart. So it makes me very happy that you took a little pleasure from them.

Ch. 2: The Ironfoot

Another deliciously Dwarvish-sounding vignette! These two turns of phrase really caught my attention:

allowing their axes to speak -a grim speach of vengeance and immoveable resolve.

[though there's a typo- it should be speech]

in the open hall the berserkers of the Iron Hills were to be finally set loose

I'd never have thought to use the word berserker with Dwarves, but it suits this scene vividly well. You're introducing me to time periods I've not delved into, which is marvelous.

The other point in time I'd really like to explore, seeing your affinity with Gimli Son of Gloin, is the colonisation of Aglarond in the Fourth Age... Have you already written a piece to that effect?
