Oh, this is twisted! I like how you focus solely on this moment in time, and give us no further info about either the setting or the characters, Yes, I can deduce much about the situation from your hints, but you leave a lot in shadow and as a reader I enjoy when I'm allowed to fill in the blanks.
My favourite sentence was this one: "And so he follows me to this dark place in my heart." It's the kind of sentence that sweeps you off your feet and leaves you awestruck:)
