The Legend Of The Grey Riders

Jay!
I absolutely loved this tale. From the first moment to the last - you caught and held me.
Eomer's joy in telling the tale; Eowyn's obvious pride for her brother; the Twins' recollections; Faramir's astonishment; and finally, wise advice.
Still laughing - thank you! I really needed that today after a nasty work day!

*Sigh*
Jay, I just re-read this... and loved it just as much as the first times I read it. Squeeeee and squeeeee again!
I was working on something with a disconcertingly similar theme when you wrote this for my birthday last year, and very soon hope to reveal the result....*whistles innocently*
Folks, if you love the sons of Elrond, Éomer, Éowyn, Faramir, Rohirric history, arguments among historians, or sly humor, you will enjoy reading this story! I can't recommend it highly enough....

Hi Jay,
So glad I found this - loved it.
I was going to quote my favorite few lines but that would spoil it for someone else.
Thanks, LBJ

But I want to see Eomer's face when they tell him... And to know which of the siblings was nearer to the truth!
