Unto the ending of the world

Ch. 36: Wind

Oh no, not Eri - ....!   Good thing Imrahil is so smart..... A nice surprise of discovering a new chapter was made even better by the latest developments.  This "interlude" chapter is wonderfully written.  Your additions of small but significant or colorful details, such as the diary given to Halbarad or thoughts of Imrahil as he considers what the heck those Corsair ships are doing, really flesh out  the characters  and motivations.  The way  impending disaster, confusion, stress  and loss are intermingled with more mundane events gives this story a unique tone.  If this were a hard copy book, I'd say it was a page-turner.  Maybe a scroll-fast-down-the-page-er....
