These stories are fantastic. Absolutley enthralling and with such vivid descriptions. The characters are very well thought out and are developing brilliantly. I am utterly hooked. One of my favourite characters is the environment, the hills, the moors and the sea. Your setting is my homeland-can it get any better?!

Thank you, Littlehobbitlost! It's been too long since I stood on the West Highland coast, the wind blowing me over 
in my hair: I'm glad my mind's eye has been true. Such a striking land--how can it not be as important as the people who walk it?
I'm glad you're enjoying my stories. There aren't too many more chapters to this one, but the next is starting to take shape already. So, RL permitting, we can all see how this strange experiment of mine continues to unfold.

I like the details of every day life in this story. The endless foraging for foods and herbs, the anxious eye on the weather and hoping the grains and animals grow so they have things to trade.
Keep it up, I really enjoy this series.

The last couple of weeks have been on a par with some of Saelon's medium-bad ones, so the encouragement is especially welcome. (Too many things bad, not painful things bad.)
I put all those details in because, in my heart of hearts, I want Middle Earth to be real and not just a fantasy. Of course, someone who likes Dwarves would want things well-grounded!
If installments are a little late for the next month or so, be patient. I'll get there.
