This is just so hauntng and painful to see Maglor in such a state: going from near excitement of seeing his brothers again and yet being reminded once more how cruel his fate actually is. I think this especially came out with a great pacing and with a fine balance in showing the reader what Maglor can perceive. This is a great work!

Oh. Oh, Maglor. Blind and unaware of his madness, because it doesn't ever occur to him that his brothers are dead, and therefore cannot be with him...his brothers that are trying to kill him. Except the Valar won't allow it...oh, that's terrible. And terribly well written. This one's going to stay with me!
