I love this - particularly because it is noted by Tolkien that Faramir was so like unto Denethor that when he spoke - all listened and saw their lord in him.
Beautifully done - the lords were perfect, Faramir IMHO was perfect, and I loved the ending.

Nice to see Gondorian Lords questioning Aragorn's assencion with some actually sound reasoning. You are very fair to them - mentioning what must have been some real concerns. I like your Faramir too - he's very in-control of the counsel without being too dictatorial - you strike a good note between graciousness and intensity. It's interesting to see his sincere joy in the King's return being tempered by the realities of an exchange of soveriegns - it must be hard that the real love and loyalty the people have for him is standing in the way of what he really wants for Gondor.
