Pippin found himself watching after the longest. Something had passed between the tall Man who rode at the head of the troupe of Men and Frodo--some unconscious look of recognition..
Sigh,, if you only knew, Pip!
Pippin's view on his cousin's and sister's state of being made me laugh. Yes dear Pippin, love can make you daft and act like an idiot!
A beautiful story and yet made me feel quite sad; Frodo and Pearl...something that was not meant to be. If only....
I Love the picture of a hobbit reprimanding the Lord of the Dunedain...and the Chieftan acquiescing!
An enjoyable read!

I like to imagine that earlier in his life Frodo did have a relationship that might have become a marriage; but as I USUALLY write canon-based stories as much as possible of course no marriage happens--although that MIGHT happen one day.
And I, too, like the idea that now and then Aragorn politely and humbly accepted such a reminder to be careful; and love the idea that just perhaps these two might have met unknowing at some time in their history.
Glad you enjoyed it.
