Ah, just re-read Dragon's Gold -- and it brought a huge grin to my face!
Smaug is so smug here... it makes me want to send a hobbit, a rabble of dwarves and a doughty bowman his way!
And I love the detail about the cups being slightly dented! LOLOL!
