Oooh, I do like this! The dynamic between Theored and Eowyn is wonderful, and they're both so very in character (as is Grima *shiver*)
His show of humility sours my tongue and it is only the bright shadow of Eorl that looms over his shoulder that tempers my words
Very nice, the idea that Eowyn's presence is the only thing keeping a civil tongue in Theodred's head. And I love the last line - it's very much something I think Theodred and Eomer both thought.

:oD Thanks, Edoraslass. Eomer and Theoden seem so benignly oblivious to Eowyn's true nature and experience. I figured someone had to have encouraged and taught her.
*snork* I read my stuff aloud sometimes to make sure I've achieved the tone and rhythm I want. I always looked forward to reading that last line.
