If I haven't already complimented you, then shame on me. I truly love this story. I can't tell you how many times I've read it! You've captured the characters so well, and you've woven the AU characters into the setting so artfully that they seem to naturally fit into the Shire. Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us.

Ch. 1: Prologue

:-) I still love it just as much as when I read it the first time.

I remember how amazed I was. I think I cried out something like "WOW! She's really making this work!"

And you really are.

I love your concise and precise style and your firm grasp of the "scene".

My favourite sentence in this chapter:
