General Comment

This story 'popped up' with the HASA tool. I'm glad it did. I wouldn't have read it, except the author's name seemed familiar. The story is from 2005.

Soubrettina - I vaguely remember that I had great respect for the tales of this author.

Boy! I see now why. This was a dark little thing that just continues to resonate long after the reading. I usually read fast - but this tale begs savoring.

Beautiful writing - so unique and rich.
