Gimli son of Gloin touched Aulë himself.
This is all kinds of <3. In the light of almost a whole page of his verbalized praise to Legolas about the Caves, it feels so real that this one sentence is enough to describe his feelings in that very moment. No amount of words are going to be enough for him anyway.
