This was chilling but exactly how I feel it must have been after the battle.
An insightful look at what usually is left out in stories,the sheer horror of the aftermath of such bloodshed and the work of cleaning up.

Hello Linda,
Thank you for reading, and I'm very glad the story worked for you. I know it's pretty gory, but from what I know of death and the aftermath of wars, it must have been like that - or worse, if anything.
And I really enjoy highlighting those random, forgotten moments and people who never have a name in the big stories.
