Awesome. Your intro is a bit rambling and incoherent, but more importantly you've nailed the mood, the characterizations and the tone. The story itself is funny and heartbreaking, so I'm not going to quibble over whether it is possible Eomer used a Mac or PC (although I am a PC user and lean in that direction as well). I vote thumbs up on this one. It works for me.
