A cute little canon-filler! I liked how there was that slight element of magic weaved into the dragon bones without it seeming awkward or contrived. Good writing, and a fine depiction of the Laketown settlement and likely events after Smaug's demise.
One thing I noticed - the constant switch between Guilin and Duilin. Something to alter?
