"I look at my hands, and they are clean"
I wonder if this means simply that Maglor has learnt to let go and forgive himself, or something far more literal and mystical, a sign that he has been forgiven by powers greater than himself?
A wonderfully rich, detailed description of the conditions of that time and place.
I noticed a few typos here and there, but otherwise enjoyable and more than a little sad. I love Maglor-in-History stories! (Three cheers for the genius who thought of that challenge/idea)
