Three Sides to the Same Story

This is one of my favorite stories in the Silmarillion--Gwindor, in particular, is a favorite, such a tragic character and one of Tolkien's few who do not need to have strength in arms to be valiant. You capture Finduilas' suffering very well; she must have felt terrible, not being able to return Gwindor's love and loving a man, who a) was mortal and b) only saw her as a sister or a queen. Turin's chapter, of course, is just as blunt and taciturn as the man himself. Well done on all three counts!
