If ever a poem captured Gríma's relationship to Éowyn, it's this. If you want to know the depths of desire as expressed through menace, this is it. I have not read a love poem more chilling, either within or outside the fandom. Clean, concise, and beautifully characterized. It's Tolkien as told by Edgar Allen Poe. Lovely job.

Thanks, Chathol-linn! I wrote Grima as a summation of female fears--the predator lurking and waiting to strike, to take down everyone around her just in order to get to her finally.
I'm glad that portrayal was effective!
