Hello, Ang,
I absolutely love this tale - but the last two chapters 44 and 45 - I think are my favorites - until you knock my socks off with another even better - which seems to be what you are striving to do!
Keep it up - can't wait for more!

I'm not sure where you were when I posted the chapter, but it will wait for you. :-)
If you think there is never enough Thorongil, then you're going to enjoy the next few chapters, where he has many scenes with Denethor.
The line from the Sil is what the mariner said to Denethor in the chapter Belegaer, and hints at what will either save Denethor from his fate, or guarantee that it follows its full, horrible course. He can't say he wasn't warned.
