I can just imagine the emotions of both at this unexpected meeting. And I can really feel what Legolas felt when he described the sea-longing.

I thought you might - I'm a great believer in recycling
(Though the research was actually done for Powers - that part of this chapter has been written for months - and recycled for the "Six Months Later" LJ drabble, rather than the other way around...
Believe me, the emotions of these two at this point have been washing around in my head for so long, it's a great relief to get them out on the page. They won't give me a moment's peace now till this thing's finished...
