5. Day 5: Enough is Enough (Melkor, Sauron)
It is most unfair, the kinds of things he is called upon to endure. They chain him, cast him out, take away his 'playthings', destroy his abode. He must suffer their awful moods, their mistrust, and all that disgusting light.
"Most Dark One... Should I proceed?" A voice croons to his right. As if it were not enough, he now has to put up with that sniveling Sauron...
They say he is on 'parole', as if they could make even the smallest decision about him; they say that he has had time--three ages, indeed--to consider his ways.
He must admit that, at times during those three ages, he wondered what would have happened if he had not tried to...ahem impose, his own musical arrangment. But, oh well. Done is done.
As he looks at the wreck about him, it is clear that there is only going forward, and he's done enough considering!
"Sauron," he says a he contemplates the ruin of Utumno. "Tell them to go on."
"All right, boys. Operation Angband begins."
