5. Coda

Looking back, Aragorn was still not certain whether the unease both he and Halbarad had felt inside Moria had been due to the sleeping Balrog hidden in the depth of the mines, or merely the empty, dark silence of the place getting to them. He did know that they had been luckier than they had realised at the time to survive their ill-prepared expedition.

A faint smile on his lips, Aragorn shook his head, and went in search of pen and paper.

The next morning, Frodo found a thin sheaf of paper, filled with neatly written tengwar, and bound with white ribbon, had been pushed underneath his door sometime that night.

A collection of my mostly Halbarad-centered stories, though Aragorn (and others) get some attention as well.
Included because: 2953: The tale of Aragorn's first entry into Moria, together with Halbarad.
