8. Stewards of Aman

Stewards we came to this land of tangled trees
To serve, to protect, to guard what cannot be saved.
Born hither on a Western wind,
We work in ways of secrecy and might.

Look upon the rolling hills and see their endless worth;
Look upon an elfling child at his father’s side.
See the waves crash upon a rocky shore in firth;
See secrets now swallowed in the coming tide.

A tale we tell of ages past, ages hence none know:
We stand in place of Kings yet to come.
In the Final Battle ye shall stand and suffer our blows,
For we know this Ennorath, and will not stand dumb.

Look upon our faces, aged yet young,
And see the fury of loyalty grown in our hearts!
Men have no words nor tongue
To describe our duties and devotion to this World.
