4. The Days and Nights of the King
The ring of power has been destroyed, and Sauron defeated. In Minas Tirith, the joyful crowds gather for the coronation of their new king.
Gandalf:
Now begin the days of the king. May they be blest.
Enter wedding procession, Elrond, and Arwen. Overwhelmed by wonder and joy, Aragorn kisses his beautiful bride.
Aragorn (to Arwen, whispered):
With you beside me, not only shall the king's days be blest,
but night too shall be beautiful and blessed and all its fear pass away!
