Decisions made, the Council adjourned. He sat at the table, suddenly exhausted. After months of solitude, the crowded room made him uneasy. Around him, elves, dwarves, hobbits, one man, and one wizard rose, speaking quietly -- of the enemy, of the past, of the late luncheon. He sat alone, knowing none, unsure.

A shadow fell over him. Looking up, he saw the tall, grey-eyed Man smiling in welcome. "Come. Master Elrond wishes me to show you your rooms. And we must speak of many things.

Rising, Boromir followed his host, his would-be King. There were questions indeed to be answered.
