In this story I mean no disrespect to Mr. Tolkien or his work. I only plan to borrow the characters and return them to their proper owners in the same condition I found them. This is a post ROTK fic, so there’s a lot that can be added here but may not be, also I might add some of my own flare to make it a tad more interesting. I will try to stay on canon as much as is humanly possible. Please don’t sue me…I barely have enough cash to fill my gas tank every week. Thanks!

Prologue…The Poem
Truth sometimes hides in shadow
Destiny is not easily seen
But Love finds it all
A quest may be in order
It will not be easy, remember
Truth sometimes hides in shadow
Trials and hardship will surface
Tears may rise and fall
But Love finds it all
Guides will watch intently
Protectors will be by your side
Truth sometimes hides in shadow
Fear covers knowledge like a shroud
Hope succumbs to despair
But Love finds it all
The quest is not for naught
Tranquillity will show through
