As chilling as The Hobbit is lighthearted (in parts). A serious glimpse of the parallel events that most certainly must have been taking place, and the harsh decisions every Ranger must well have faced. Would that they might have witnessed the real outcome of an encounter between those vicious trolls and the careless unlikely travelers! Nice work.

Thank you for reading:) I imagine they will at some point find the stone trolls and eventually even hear what happened. Unfortunately, at this point they don't know that yet...
