Story Summary
The Battle of the Pelennor was not Imrahil's first meeting with Isildur's Heir. Years before the future king led a young prince in a daring raid on Umbar, and then nudged him towards finding a wife.
The story starts as a high adventure and ends as a light- hearted romance.

Oh what a lovely tale! Aragorn as Throngil was wonderfully wrought and Imrahil came to life for me with all the sparkle, wit and charm of a well-turned Prince of the Realm. The raid of Umbar and the jewel of a story point (the unexpected freeing of the slaves) will stay with me for a long time.
A wonderful read!
