I've commented before on your stories but I feel I have to comment again. They are amazing, truly. I'm from the West coast of Scotland though now live in NE England. I am a geologist so I've spent my fair share of nights and days crossing wild and wet lands yet I could never write as you do of such things.
You have a real talent and I love how much of my language and old words I find in your writings. And Burns' Day approaches too...
Please keep it up!

Thank you for those kind words about my landscapes, Littlehobbitlost and Freyalyn. That means a great deal to me. I was often blue or worked to distraction while in Britain, but the varied beauty of the place was always a joy.

Thank you for the note, Orofyn! It's so gratifying to tempt out those who usually lurk. 
I hope there will be more to "Hand to Hand" soon, too--first my Muse demanded a vacation, and now I'm trying to get the Dwarves back together for the next chapter. They're not good at sitting around, twiddling their thumbs and waiting for something to do.
I have hopes of progress soon, but will make no promises I cannot keep. Apologies to all my readers left in suspense.
