Nath - that flurry of comments (I assume Favourite Rings must have shown up as the Featured Story?!) reminded *me* of that image of Sauron, which I had managed to get rid of for years!
It was Dwim and Marta's fault, curse them - I never intend to write terrible parodic filks, but when one of them throws down a challenge, I go to bed determined *not* to write one and then end up having to get up at 1 am and write something down just to get it out of *my* head. So I'm sorry Sauron-as-Julie-Andrews has invaded your brain - he'll go away eventually if you ignore him!

Thanks Armariel, Jay and Larner - glad it raised a giggle! And yes, poor old Aragorn - I remember that when I started to think about it, he seemed to have no shortage of Least Favourite Things making his life difficult. (Whereas Legolas and Gimli's mostly involved each other, like the typical bickering old married couple... 
)
