What a wonderful Feanor/Nerdanel story; and it all fits with the Cinderella story - funny, poignant and believable all the way.

Gandalfs apprentice pointed me toward this story.  I love it!  I have added it to my "Fantasy of Manners" playlist, as "Cinderella meets Jane Austen & they play in the Silmarillion".
