A gap-filler, after Theodred's death and before Gandalf frees Theoden, mostly dealing with Eomer's grief for his cousin.

The most wonderful gap-filler I've ever read! Everybody is perfectly in character, and although I read it quite often already, it doesn't lose anything of its magic.
For me, *that* is what happened from Éomer's imprisonment until he was freed following the arrival of Aragorn & Co.
