Question of Breeding, A

I know you have written that EXCELLENT essay "The Unnatural History of Orcs," and I am a fan of this story as well. Specifically, I like not only how strongly in character the three wizards are--they answer Elladan and Elrohir exactly how I imagine they would--but also how you fill gaps in their characters. I really like your development of what Saruman is thinking, how absorbed Radagast is in the animal world, and how Gandalf gives Elladan and Elrohir a blunt, pragmatic and disappointing yet not completely pessimistic answer to their questions. Even though it is not in canon, I believe that Elladan and Elrohir would question their own mission of persecuting Orcs. I'd like to see Saruman's POV developed even further, (hint hint please, please enter my prospective challenge "The Corruption of Saruman").
