Meaning: Castle of the Sea
Description:Alcarondas was the flagship of Ar-Pharazôn in which he led the invasion of Aman.
"Many oared it was and many-masted, golden and sable; and upon it the throne of Ar-Pharazôn was set."
Alcarondas, like the other ships of the Great Armament, was swept into the abyss when Eru Ilúvatar changed the shape of the world.
