I chuckle. "They are at times wilful."
"Indeed!" says Nessa, eyes twinkling. "And is that not why Cats were added to the Song? To teach us the limits of our authority?"
"Mayhap that accounts for Ossë," I jest.
"And Eagles," Manwë mutters.
Yavanna grins. "How is that, oh Lord of the Airs of Arda? Do not the Eagles heed your every wish?"
Varda winks, leaning over to whisper, "He likes us to believe so."
The Valier's laughter rings forth... and Arien beams with joy at the merry noise.
