Location: A hilly upland region in Eriador, running northeast from the city of Fornost, at the northern end of the Greenway.
Description:
'In the North after the [Last Alliance]... their city of Annúminas... fell into ruin; and the heirs of Valandil removed and dwelt at Fornost on the high North Downs, and that now too is desolate. Men call [Fornost] Deadmen's Dike, and they fear to tread there.'
