This error was first reported here.
If an author used the story drop-down menu from the Author Toolbox on the story overview page in My Stuff, clicked on the "Edit Story" button for the retrieved story, performed any edit on the story, and clicked to update the story, she would end up on a mostly blank story overview page stating the story could not be located.
The problem occurred because the drop-down menu in the Author Toolbox removes the URL query string from the story overview page, which was used to bring the author back to the overview after an update. The information has been supplied through another mechanism and now the updated story will be found after update.
