Discussing: Faramir's son

I am looking for the year when Faramir's son Elboron was born, if this is known. The Reference library says he's mentioned in the geneology of Dol Amroth in HOME vol. 12. I don't have the text of HOME, except for vol. 5. So I can't look further. I don't even know if a year was ever given. If it was, would love to know!

Unfortunately, Tolkien did not supply a birth date for Elboron; in the Family Tree in HoME 12, the only additional information about Elboron is that he is the "Second Prince" (of Ithilien).... and some notes that the name is recycled; it first applied to either Eluréd or Elurín, and then to Elladan or Elrohir....
Trust me, if there were a birthdate, it would be in the Research Library *she says with determined look*.....
