Story Summary

This is a little ficlet about a rather bad day in the life of a Barad-dur commander. Sometimes, it just doesn't pay to be evil. And even if your bed is underwater, there are some mornings when you're better off staying in it. Written for the Quickies Qtr 3, 2003 challenge.
