Challenge Details
It's pretty well documented that the Rohirrim liked to sing, and liked to sing a lot. And in any culture that revolved around music, there would be bards and minstrels. Now the bards and minstrels of Medieval England were effectively the newspapers of the day, and in Celtic society, a poet's curse was a terrible thing.
Thusly, the bards were very powerful people. What kind of songs would have been sung, what was the reaction of the audience, or the target? A bawdy song for Fengel the feckless to be sung in mead halls the length and breadth of the Riddermark? Epic sagas of Eorl the young? How would the news of Grima's ejection from the Golden Hall be spread? What would the wrath of a bard be?
